The article under the cut - Female Bodies: A Weighty Issue by Foz Meadows - is quite good. In fact, I think it is very good! It tackles both social and medical issues, and really gives BMI grief (which BTW, many of my fitness colleagues don't like either). I found this article "3 Reasons Why Yoga Will Help You Lose Weight". I also copied it below underneath the cut.

Weight is a huge issue for me. Being stiff due to many surgeries and injuries is a big issue for me. I wonder if this would work. I might get her book.
